According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have made a fresh offer to sign Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka on loan. No agreement has been struck between both clubs but talks are ongoing for a potential move.
The Red Devils need to sign a goalkeeper to provide competition to David de Gea. The Spaniard is the top choice to start every weekend, however, the club doesn’t have a strong second-choice option.
Tom Heaton is available to play but the club needs a stronger option as they have already let Dean Henderson leave on loan. The 33-year-old Slovakia international rested in the Magpie’s recent win against Tranmere Rovers in a Carabao cup match.

Kevin Trapp was main option but now complicated, same for Sommer and Vlachodimos.

United have been linked with a host of names such as Yann Sommer and Frankfurt’s Kevin Trapp. However, a deal for both the goalkeepers is off since their parent club has asked for an unrealistic fee.
Currently, the board are focused on bringing Antony to Old Trafford. The Brazilian star will be joining Ten Hag’s side if the club’s offer matches Ajax’s asking price for the player.
As things stand, the next few days would be quite a busy one for the Reds as they are expecting at least two new signings before the transfer window slams shut.
