Manchester United have reignited their interest in Benjamin Sesko

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have reignited their interest in Slovenian star Benjamin Sesko.

The talented RB Salzburg striker has already committed to a pre-term contract with RB Leipzig after being linked with a summer transfer to Manchester United.

The sister Red Bull slub did sign the striker, although the 19-year-old will not be able to begin the upcoming season in Germany until the summer of 2023. Before moving on, the Slovenian international will play this season with Salzburg.

That won’t stop interested clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich from trying to sneak their key attacking target. According to rumours, the Bundesliga team is thinking about selling Sesko for three times the amount they originally agreed to pay.

As a result, Leipzig would be willing to sell Sesko for €60 million, which would allow them to earn a sizeable profit on a player who hasn’t even started for their team.

United forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s future as a centre-forward appears to be bleak, thus Erik ten Hag will be searching for a replacement next summer.

Sesko has started this year on a bright note after contributing with five goals and could add more before the season ends.
