According to BBC sports, Yves Bissouma the 24-year-old Brighton midfielder is being targeted by Liverpool and Manchester United.
It is also believed that the French side Monaco are trying to secure his services. Yves Bissouma joined Brighton from Lille in 2018 and has excelled in his stint with the premier league club so far and has attracted some of the top clubs from around the world.
Liverpool may look to go after Bissouma as it looks highly unlikely that Gini Wijnaldum will commit his long-term future to the club as it is being reported that he has rejected any contracts that have been offered to him recently.
Manchester United may look to bring the star to Old Trafford but it feels that there would have to be some departures before they look to sign any long-term prospects for the club.
The addition of Yves Bissouma would make for a dazzling midfield option as he seems to be in his prime at 24 years of age. He is a proper box to box midfielder and can slot into his role very well.
He likes to play a bit deeper and collect the ball but can also unleash a shot from range every once in a while so that the opposition keeper is always on his toes.
He has got great physicality and can shield the ball well and may do a great job of replacing Matic in that position over time. If this acquisition does take place it would be a good thing for the club and with Pogba’s future at the club being questionable it may even be required as Bissouma does bring some flair to the midfield as well.
