Former Liverpool sporting director, Michael Edwards is attracting interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
He was instrumental in signing star players such as Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, and Sadio Mane, among other key Reds players recently.
After 11 years of hard work, the transfer mastermind left Liverpool last season. Numerous elite clubs have expressed interest in him as a result of his outstanding behind-the-scenes work with manager Jurgen Klopp.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United and Chelsea are considering Edwards as a potential addition to their recruitment team.

There is a new organizational structure in place at Old Trafford, and football director John Murtough is currently in charge of United’s recruitment. Chief negotiator Matt Judge is soon to leave the Red Devils, while chief scouts Jim Lawlor and Marcel Bout have both left the club.
Given his connections to United’s bitter rivals Liverpool, it is unclear whether Edwards will take a position with United.
Lee Dykes, the director of recruitment at Brentford, is admired by Manchester United as well. He has made a number of smart signings, including those of Ivan Toney and Vitaly Janelt, among others.
Another candidate that United is apparently considering is Middlesbrough’s head of football, Kieran Scott.
As for Chelsea, they are currently owned by a new group that is headed by Tedd Boehly.
Marina Granovskaia, the longtime director of the Stamford Bridge team, has departed the west London club, and the Blues would be happy if Edwards took her place.
