Manchester United are looking to strengthen their defence for the coming season. Manchester United are looking for several player options who can improve their team, and they believe Chelsea’s Academy Graduate Trevoh Chalobah would be a great match under the policy of Erik Ten Hag to to bring young guns.
The “academy graduate” is 24-year-old centre-back Trevoh Chalobah, who has shaped up in Chelsea during his young days. In 2021, he made his first team debut. his campaign was excellent, during which he demonstrated composure and defensive solidity. However, it seems like that initial spark has gone now.
Chalobah, a former England junior international, has been put under pressure in recent months. A string of injuries has severely limited his playing time in the 2023–2024 season, despite him seeing a respectable amount of action in the previous campaign. Chalobah, whose contract with Chelsea expires in the summer, is facing a significant turning point in his career, having made just four appearances thus far this season.
Trevoh must demonstrate his fitness and regain the trust of teams in order to earn a long-term spot in the squad or to be recruited by any other Premier League team. Many European and Premier League teams are targeting him despite his hamstring problems. Manchester United are prepared to invest in him because of his tremendous potential and past achievements at Chelsea.

The Red Devils had tried to sign him in the summer transfer window recently but were unable to reach an agreement with Chelsea on price tag of their youngster. German giants Bayern Munich is another team in the race to get his signature as his contract is near end at Chelsea and their are doubts over an extension being offered by them.
According to few sources, Trevoh Chalobah has also showed his desire to leave the club at the end of current season as his not a first choice centre back at the club and this has decreased the rate of his growth as a central defender. This has also resulted in him not being selected for England National Team not only for the qualifiers but also has dented his hopes getting into the Euro squad for the Three Lions.
