Manchester United are keeping an eye on Slovenian striker, Benjamin Šeško as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Red Devils have been considering finding a new centre-forward as soon as Edinson Cavani’s contract expired at the end of the previous campaign. In addition, there are concerns over whether Cristiano Ronaldo will continue to play for them without Champions League football.
The team will eventually need to consider the future, even if the Portuguese striker decides to stay. They will therefore be keeping their options open for the younger strikers.
According to Fabrizio Romano, one player they are keeping an eye on is Benjamin Sesko. The Slovenian international finished his first full season with FC Liefering in 2021–2022.

Šeško scored 11 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions the previous season. The 2022–23 Austrian season is officially underway, and the 19-year-old has scored goals in both of his first two outings.
The striker has made a name for himself in the future and is now being watched by various clubs in leagues other than the Austrian Bundesliga. He was also linked with teams like Newcastle, Tottenham, and Liverpool in the Premier League.
Romano claims that Manchester United is now vying for Šeško’s services as well. Although they are well informed about him, there is no kind of advance arrangement. Manchester United has not made a formal proposal elsewhere and Salzburg sources have also informed them that they are not planning to sell Sesko this summer.
They may not be able to keep him for that long, but they do intend to make him more well-known over the 2022–2023 campaign.
There is a good probability that he will move on to better things in the future. His agent has been in contact with clubs all around Europe, including Newcastle and AC Milan, to discuss potential future opportunities.

Benjamin Šeško is still a youngster but has already made an impression in Austria. Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool star, and Erling Haaland, a recent addition to Manchester City, are two other outstanding players who rose through the ranks at Salzburg to gain a shot in the Premier League.
It will be interesting to see if Šeško can achieve those heights. However, they will undoubtedly be keeping tabs on him if his agent is notifying teams about him.
The Slovenian striker stands a good potential of generating additional transfer rumours in the months and years to come if he continues to play the way he has begun the current season.
