Manchester United are in talks with PSV Eindhoven to sign the highly-rated midfielder, Ibrahim Sangare this summer. The Mirror reports that negotiations between the two teams are ongoing over Sangare’s probable transfer to the Premier League.
There are good connections between the two clubs that a deal can be reached and that negotiations between the Red Devils and PSV Eindhoven are moving along smoothly and swiftly.
The price being discussed is between €35 and €40 million for Sangare, who reportedly has a €35 million release clause in his present contract. Ruud van Nistelrooy, the new manager of PSV and a former Manchester United player, recently expressed his hope for a quick solution to the 24-year-old’s future.

Sangare has previously been linked with Manchester United. SkySports had claimed that the Ivory Coast midfielder had his heart set on a move to the Premier League and was confident he would be playing in England in the forthcoming season.
Since the departure of Ander Herrera, United needs a top defensively oriented midfielder. With Nemanja Matic leaving and uncertainty surrounding Frenkie de Jong’s move to Old Trafford, Sangare represents an affordable replacement.
With the impending arrival of Lisandro Martinez and the addition of Sangare, new United manager Erik ten Hag may make a total of four signings.
The 24-year-old has a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest in the industry at his position, leading the league in tackles made, duels won, ball recoveries, and interceptions. Sangare’s steel, grit, and other qualities would make him the ideal possible midfield partner for Frenkie De Jong.
Recently, it was reported that a fee had been mostly agreed upon between United and the Blaugrana for Frenkie de Jong. However, personal terms are still the major sign of concern.
The PSV Eindhoven midfielder’s signing would also raise further questions about Scott McTominay’s involvement in Erik ten Hag’s plans. Sangare would undoubtedly be a welcome addition to a position that has to be addressed.
