Manchester United are one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world but still don’t have a Director of Football in place. A Director of Football in a club is responsible for the transfers and player contracts. It is now being reported by The Mirror that Manchester United are planning to get Luis Campos as their Director of Football in the near future.
It was earlier reported this summer that Manchester United would have got a Director of Football this year. But like every year, it never happened, as it was reported that Ed Woodward felt that he was happy with what he was doing. The club has had a poor transfer window and it is high time for the Red Devils to hire a Director of Football.
It is now being reported that Manchester United are looking to get Lucas Campos as the club’s Director of Football. Campos has had prior at the job as he was the DoF at both Monaco and Lille. Tottenham were also linked with Campos but couldn’t get a deal done with him.
A Director of Football us the need of the hour at Manchester United and if the club has league ambitions, they need to hire a DoF.
