Manchester United are believed to be looking to make a move for Leicester City’s midfield maestro Youri Tielemans in the next summer transfer window.
Tielemans had his future at the King Power Stadium subject to much talk before the summer window slam shut this time around with Liverpool and Manchester United credited with an interest in signing the Belgian.
Leicester City, however, managed to retain the services of their in-demand first-team star but Brendan Rodgers could be forced to part ways with him should United come calling with a big-money move in the very near future.
According to reports from Utd Report, Paul Pogba’s uncertain future at Old Trafford beyond the 2022 summer transfer window could make the 24-year-old Tielemans one of the top names on Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s list to fill the void left by the Frenchman’s exit.
Pogba has been eyed up by the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the past and there is talk of the European bigwigs reviving their longstanding interest in landing the World Cup-winning midfielder when his contract at United comes to a close.
