According to the Sun, Arsenal and Manchester United scouts were left with positive impressions after observing the performance of Red Bull Salzburg’s attacking midfielder, Oscar Gloukh, during the recent international break.
During the international break, the 19-year-old played for Israel against Romania, scoring the equalizing goal to enhance his country’s chances of qualifying for the upcoming European Championship.
He continued to impress in the following match, where Israel secured a 1-0 victory over Belarus.
Liverpool also had their scouts present to observe Gloukh. Consequently, both United and Arsenal may encounter strong competition from Liverpool for his potential signing in either the January transfer window or the summer.
The Salzburg forward declined an opportunity to move to Barcelona in January, opting instead to move from Maccabi Tel Aviv to his current club in a £6 million deal.

Gloukh is confident that he made the correct decision for his personal development and is now open to the possibility of playing in the Premier League.
Arsenal and Man United began monitoring this young talent in January, and it’s expected that additional clubs will express interest in him.
Gloukh’s outstanding finesse goal for Israel against England in the final earned him the title of Under-19 Euro Goal of the Tournament last year.
Additionally, he played a crucial role in helping his country secure a spot at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, marking their third qualification in history, following a victory over England in this summer’s Under-21 Euros.
In the current season, the midfielder has featured in eight games for his Austrian club, scoring once and providing three assists. The Red Devils could benefit from such a versatile winger, particularly considering their recent struggles in the Premier League.

Man United will continue to monitor the Israeli talent closely, but outbidding competitors like Arsenal and Liverpool for his services will be a challenging task.
Gloukh’s versatility allows him to play as an attacking midfielder behind the striker, a right winger, or even a second striker. He concluded his last season with Maccabi, accumulating six goals and eight assists in 25 games.
