Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United is not in contact with Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso. They have not started any contract talks with the midfielder and all the rumours appear to be just a way to increase the player’s interest.
Tolisso was never linked with a move to Manchester United but it has become a trend that literally every player gets linked to this club. This is also a way of generating interest but the club is not going to buy the French midfielder as it doesn’t suit their plans.
Bayern Munich will ask £10m for Corentin Tolisso but the player is not marked by any clubs at this point. The player is still only 27 and has many years to develop.
Tolisso has been inconsistent for the German giants and his injury record is not so pleasing. He has started his pre-season training for the upcoming season and will be in contention to play against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Manchester United has been linked to other players like Ruben Neves and Eduardo Camavinga. The interest in these players is more serious than Tolisso.
Another Bayern player who has attracted United’s interest is Leon Goretzka. The German midfielder is available for just £25m and has the potential to succeed at Old Trafford. But it’s already been reported that Bayern Munich is trying to extend his contract.
