Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has formally completed his contract signing with Manchester United, as reported by David Ornstein from The Athletic.
The Moroccan international has been on United’s radar for several months, and he has now joined the club on a loan deal worth €10 million.
As part of the agreement, the Red Devils will have the option to buy Amrabat next summer for €20 million, and this amount could potentially increase to €25 million with additional performance-related incentives.
While United would have preferred to secure the African ace on a permanent transfer, their Financial Fair Play constraints prevented this.
Amrabat has now completed the required paperwork and will earn €37,000 per week during his year-long loan with the club. If the midfielder makes a permanent move next summer, he could see a significant increase in his salary.

The transfer saga involving Amrabat began in early July, with continuous links to a move to Old Trafford appearing in the Italian media.
After months of speculation, United have finally secured his signing from La Viola, primarily by offering a substantial loan fee.
Amrabat has now reunited with manager Erik ten Hag, who gave him his senior debut at Utrecht. Ten Hag evidently believes that the Moroccan midfielder has made significant improvements over the years and could play a crucial role this season.

While at Fiorentina, the 27-year-old primarily operated as a defensive midfielder. He may not be known for tough tackling but possesses strong distribution and ball-control skills.
He is also adept at making tactical fouls in games, although he needs to work on his discipline, as he received 16 yellow cards in 49 games last season.
Amrabat will need to exercise more caution in the Premier League, but he should prove to be a valuable signing. He could offer the much-needed defensive cover for Casemiro, who has been occasionally isolated this season.

With Amrabat’s arrival, United completes its seventh and final signing of the transfer window.
In addition to Amrabat, Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund were acquired during the pre-season, and today, United officially confirmed the arrivals of Altay Bayindir, Sergio Reguilon, and Jonny Evans.
