Manchester United officials are not pleased with Mino Raiola and his comments regarding Paul Pogba. The mood has severely dropped down in the Old Trafford group after the recent incidents.
Mino Raiola in the recent interview has hit out at United and Solksjaer and even their player management strategy. He has said that Pogba is not happy, as speculated many times before this year, and even United have not managed the player and his abilities. He has even hit out at Solksjaer for talking about his client Erling Haaland.
Raiola said: “I can say it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United. There’s no use ignoring it. It’s better to speak honestly, look to the future and not waste time trying to blame people: Paul is unhappy at Manchester United, he can no longer express himself as he wants to or in the way that’s expected of him. He needs to change team, he needs a change of scene. He has a contract that expires in a year and a half’s time, in the summer of 2022, but I think the best solution would be for him to leave in the next transfer window.”
This comments from the agent has been taken very badly because it has been aimed at the team’s reputation. Solksjaer has always managed his players well and supported them at every step. Pogba has been in poor form since his move from Juventus back to the club and it was a world record deal at that time, a deal of £90 million. Still, Pogba has failed to meet he expectations. His role has been switched from CM to CDM numerous times, but no fruit of that strategy.
Solksjaer has used Pogba in many games this season and has tried to utilize his skills always. But Pogba has not shown his true potential whatsoever, and if the player is not performing well then it comes to his own responsibility as well which Raiola has always neglected.
Manchester United will not be happy of the consistent attacks of the agent over his client’s treatment. He has hinted out a transfer of Pogba in the coming summer window but the decision is on the club and the manager.
Gary Neville has hit out at Mina Riaola saying that he is a disgrace all over Europe and his clients must stop working with the agent.
