According to Italian publication Il Mattino, Manchester United are preparing a mega offer for Victor Osimhen at the end of the current campaign.
The Nigerian international has been in excellent form for Napoli this season, recording 12 goals and three assists in 14 Serie A games. And he reportedly requested that his camp hold off on discussing his future until the completion of the current Serie A season.
The Red Devils have recently signed Wout Weghorst on a temporary loan basis. However, United are expected to receive an upgrade at the end of the season, particularly if they are successful in earning a berth in the Champions League for the following year.
Osimhen is a player whose transfer to Old Trafford is still being discussed, as United has long admired the 24-year-old. Il Mattino claims that the Red Devils are “already lined up” as they prepare to bring in the forward.

A lot of middlemen are reportedly working hard to get the striker into the Premier League at the end of the season. However, Napoli has asked for a sum of £133 million to get rid of their prized asset.
They are taking into account how the market has changed recently, especially in the wake of Chelsea’s choice to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk.
While Osimhen’s current deal is set to end in 2025, he is reportedly happy at Napoli. Additionally, he is said to have urged his agent to hold off on discussing his future until the summer.
