Manchester United Preparing Contract Extension For Paul Pogba?

According to the latest reports, Premier League giants Manchester United are preparing a contract offer for midfield gem Paul Pogba in the near future to keep the away from the clutches of Real Madrid.

The European transfer window has ended and United fans will be relieved to know that Paul Pogba is still at Old Trafford despite the lack of convincing performances over the last few weeks for the Red Devils.

Ths Los Blancos are in a redevelopment phase and were heavily linked to brining Paul Pogba to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window and even Pogba has admitted that he is keen on playing under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid but United are desperate to tie him down at the red half of Manchester.

United suffered a horrendous season last campaign as they finished in sixth place in the Premier League table but Pogba was the top scorer netting 13 times and also registering nine assists as well.

The World Cup-winning French midfielder has been spoken in very high regard by pundits in terms of his ability and Real Madrid might come back around in the January transfer window snooping in for the 26-year-old.

Even though Solskjaer has admitted that Pogba is not for sale anytime soon, United could decide to sell him if a massive offer comes in. But the Red Devils are also eager to keep Pogba at the club for a while longer to refute any interest from any other European suitors.

Therefore, some members in the United hierarchy are advising the club to go on and offer Pogba a contract extension so that his buyout clause cannot really be matched by an interested third party.
