Manchester United To Turn Down Offers For Bruno Fernandes

According to Caught Offside (as quoted by the Manchester Evening News), Manchester United will reject any new offers that if offered for their club captain Bruno Fernandes this summer.

The 29-year-old has been a vital player for the Red Devils since moving to the club from Sporting CP in January 2020. Over the years, the English elites have signed several flops, but Fernandes has turned out to be a master in the making.

He has made 231 appearances and scored 79 goals and provided 65 assists. He has been given the responsibility of being the club’s captain under manager Erik ten Hag.

Since then, he has never missed a single game for Man Utd this season due to any injury. His consistency and reliability have inspired the fans, and they want the Portuguese midfielder to stay at Old Trafford.

United are expected to reject all advances that come their way for the No.8. Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are interested in the architect-in-chief and the former are ready to place a bid for Fernandes this summer.

Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad are also said to be preparing a €100 million bid for the United star. But the club wants to keep their prized asset and will convince the player for the same.

The Portuguese’ current contract ends in 2026, this means that he will need to make a decision at least until next summer. The midfielder will be frustrated to miss out on Champions League football but will stay loyal to the club.

It remains to be seen whether he changes his stance next year or continue to serve the club until his contract runs out. Nevertheless, there will not be any shortage of suitors even if the player decides to stay until 2026.
