Manchester United ready to welcome full crowd to Old Trafford

The government of the United Kingdom will ease the Covid-19 restrictions from July 19 across the nation which will bring some sweet news for football fans all over the country.

Manchester United will be able to welcome their fans back to Old Trafford for their Premier League clash against Leeds United on August 14th. It’s excellent news for United as it has various benefits for both the fans and the clubs.

Normal life will resume soon which will soon see Old Trafford become noisy again. Financially it will help the Premier League clubs to gain some profits as well from shirt and ticket sales.

The Prime Minister of England, Boris Johnson has also said that the authority will allow the visitors to attend concerts, theatres, and sports events.

As mentioned on the club’s official website, Manchester United released a statement: We will now work through the detail of this announcement and any subsequent guidance from the football authorities to amend our plans, stadium regulations, and supporter guidance ahead of our pre-season friendlies and the Premier League season. As part of that, our policies in relation to face masks, social distancing, capacities, and ticketing will be reviewed and communicated to our fans to make attending our games as safe as possible, in line with the national guidance.”

The final decision regarding the reopening of stadiums will be taken on Monday.

Manchester United last welcomed their fans on the last home game against the Wolves on the 23rd of May. They won the game by a 2-1 scoreline to give some joy to their fans.
