Manchester United FC have had a torrid transfer window till now as the club has signed only one player yet. It has been widely reported that the club still believes its priority signing to be of Jadon Sancho, but a bid hasn’t been placed for him yet. It is now being reported by The Mirror that United are planning to place a bid of about £90m for Sancho.
It has been widely reported that Dortmund have set a price tag of £108m on Jadon Sancho. United have been very careful about their bids this summer and feel that the pandemic has caused a lot of financial havoc to the Red Devils. According to reports yesterday, it is believed that United have waited till October to bid for Sancho.
And it now being suggested that the Red Devils are readying a bid of £75m upfront with about £15m in add-ons. It is believed that Ed Woodward will place this bid, as the only bid for Sancho. The bid will reportedly be a ‘take it or leave it’ bid as United believe anything above the bid should be enough in the pandemic scenario.
Only time will tell if the bid is placed on Dortmund’s table and if the German club accepts it. Sancho has been the hottest topic of discussion this summer and will be the signing of the summer if United pull it off.
