As stated by the club’s official website, Manchester United have received positive injury news as they prepare for their upcoming Champions League group stage match against Copenhagen.
The team has so far collected three points from three group games and needs a win to improve their chances of progressing to the round of 16.
United have received a timely boost with the return of Victor Lindelof and Marcus Rashford to first-team training ahead of their upcoming match.
Lindelof was absent due to illness in their previous Premier League win over Fulham, while Rashford missed the game due to a leg injury, failing a late fitness test.
Both players have now participated in team training and are potential candidates to be in the starting lineup for the match against the Danish champions.

United secured a win against Fulham, though their performance wasn’t the best. They had a goal disallowed early in the game and appeared headed for a draw until Bruno Fernandes scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner, with Facundo Pellistri providing the assist after effective pressing.
It’s suggested that Pellistri should start on the right wing, while Marcus Rashford might be favoured over Alejandro Garnacho in the upcoming match.
Garnacho provided an assist for Scott McTominay’s disallowed goal, but his overall impact in the match might not be convincing enough for the manager to keep him in the starting lineup.

Additionally, if Erik ten Hag decides to select two of the central defenders from Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, and Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof could return to the left-back position.
