Manchester United Receive Triple Injury Boost

Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United are set to receive a massive injury boost ahead of Sunday’s match against Liverpool as the trio of Aaron Wan Bissaka, Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba are in line to be fit to face for the crunch game on Sunday.

After eight games played in England’s top division, Manchester United have had their worst ever start to the Premier League season managing only just nine points so far. The main issue for United has been their attack as they have failed to find the back of the net more than one time in a game apart from the opening day 4-0 bashing of Chelsea. However, with the lack of goals, another big problem has also been with the performances of the team as they have not shown any sort of improvement in the style of play under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ever since he took up the job on a permanent basis.

The 20 time League winners managed to lure in Harry Maguire from Leicester City for a record £80 million making the Englishman the most expensive defender in football history. United also snapped up £50 million defender Aaron Wan Bissaka signing the right-back from Crystal Palace and Welsh midfielder Daniel James from Swansea City has also been a bonus.  Although the summer signings have improved United in few areas on the pitch, the club is still languishing in the 12th position on the League table.

The Red Devils have had quite a few injury concerns over the past few months as key players have out of action and Solskjaer is in dire need of some good news ahead of the clash against Liverpool. Most probably, the 46-year-old could be welcomed with the return of Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan Bissaka and Luke Shaw from their injuries for the crunch game against fierce rivals Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are leading the Premier League table by five points and have kept a 100 percent win record so far looking to end their 30-year wait for a Premier League title

The Reds are 15 points ahead of Manchester United but the hosts will be hopeful of getting a result due to the return of Shaw, Pogba and Wan Bissaka in a bid to end Liverpool’s win streak. Pogba was the top scorer for United last season and the 26-year-old Frenchman has the ability to change the course of a game. Wan Bissaka is surely a better option in wing-back than Ashley Young in both, a defensive and offensive sense of the game and Luke Shaw would add some solidity to the left-hand side of the backline.
