Manchester United register interest in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi

Manchester United have reportedly registered a strong interest in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi in the January transfer window.

According to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Ndidi has emerged on the transfer radar at Old Trafford amid the speculation of the midfielder seeking an exit from the King Power Stadium sooner rather than later.

Leceister City have endured a timid start to the new season and it is believed that the highly-rated Ndidi could be in line to ask for a move elsewhere with Manchester United keeping tabs on the Leicester City first-team star.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been backed to bring in some much-needed fresh blood for his midfield department and despite being linked with a host of names across Europe, Ndidi’s availability in the market will make him an attractive target to the Red Devils.

Wolves man Ruben Neves and West Ham United skipper Declan Rice are the other names rumoured to be on the shopping list for the United boss Solskjaer who needs to hasten signing a new defensive midfield player for his side when the transfer window reopens.
