Manchester United has said to have enquired about the services of Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde who is enjoying a fine season with Sevilla as they sit 3rd in La Liga right now.
Jules Kounde is only 22 years old and is on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Sevilla even rejected a £55 million bid last season for Jules after which Manchester City brought Reuben Dias for an almost similar sum.
Jules Kounde has an £80 million release clause in his contract and that could be off-putting for many clubs especially due to the current financial condition that is prevalent after the pandemic.
At such a young age he has already established himself as a first-team regular at Sevilla. He has scored one goal in 18 appearances this season. That goal was a crucial one against Barcelona and showed everyone that his offensive play can also be a treat at times.
Jules Kounde shows a lot of promise and has already established himself as a world-class defender. Manchester United will have to fend off a lot of competition if they want to bring the talented youngster to the club.
