Done Deal – Manchester United Sign Aaron Wan Bissaka

Its official,  Aaron Wan Bissaka has finally joined Manchester United from Crystal Palace in a reported £50 million deal as the Premier League giants announced his move earlier today.

Wan Bissaka was one of the star players for Crystal Palace last season and emerged as one of the top transfer targets for a few top clubs in the European continent due to his impressive displays. His consistent performances at right back ensured that the 21-year-old was snapped up by a big suitor and Manchester United have obliged to his demand.

The young defender signed a five year deal with the Red Devils with a transfer fee of around £50 million which will go to the South London club Crystal Palace. Wan Bissaka becomes the second transfer for Manchester United following Daniel James’ arrival at Old Trafford from Swansea City earlier this month and the sixth most expensive in United’s history.

Upon acquiring the energetic defender, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that England U-21 star Wan Bissaka is one of the best up and coming defenders in the League and has the right fit to play for a club like Manchester United. The 46-year-old Norwegian went on to say, “Aaron is one of the best upcoming defenders in the Premier League, He has the right work ethic, talent and mentality to play for Manchester United and he fits exactly the type of player that we are looking to bring into the squad to help us improve and push on further.

Solskjaer further went on to explain his delight upon signing the young full back from Crystal Palace, “Aaron is a young, hungry player and eager to learn and that’s important at his age. I am delighted he has signed with us and we look forward to continuing his tremendous development so far.”
