According to transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has agreed to join Everton on loan for the remainder of the season.
Crystal Palace showed interest in the Netherlands international earlier this month, and it appeared that they were in pole position to sign him.
However, the Toffees have grabbed the chance to sign the midfielder on the last day of the transfer window. Donny Van de Beek has agreed to all the personal terms and has preferred Everton over Crystal Palace
They have reached an agreement with Manchester United on a loan move. However, the contract doesn’t have a buy option. Donny has successfully completed his medical and the signing will be officially unveiled by the club after he signs the contract.

Last summer, Van de Beek was extensively linked with a loan move to Everton, but our former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blocked his move. He has only played 380 minutes in 14 games since then, and he has recently been dropped from the Netherlands squad.
Palace and Everton were both willing to give him regular game time. However, the Dutchman’s decision to join the latter is unsurprising considering the fact that Crystal Palace is struggling in the Premier League this season.

The Toffees don’t have a pure number 10 in their lineup. Van de Beek, who can also play in a deeper midfield role, would be a valuable signing for the new Everton manager Frank Lampard.
The Netherlands midfielder could get more minutes to play under Lampard as the former Chelsea manager is well-known for handing more games to his younger players.
After the completion of his six-month loan spell, Donny Van de Beek will return to Old Trafford. A good loan performance could help him fix his career at Manchester United and who knows he may even prefer to join Everton in the summer.
