Manchester United stick to decision of retaining rebel Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United are reportedly sticking to their decision of retaining rebel Cristiano Ronaldo despite the forward’s demand for a move away from Old Trafford this summer.

Ronaldo has made it known to the United board that he wants out of the club before the transfer window closes with the 37-year-old Portuguese superstar keen to play in the Champions League next season.

According to a report from the Daily Star, United will refuse to part ways with their talisman with the Red Devils camp adamant that the player is not up for sale as the new boss Eric ten Hag is eager for Ronaldo to say put.

Talks between Ten Hag and Ronaldo following the latter’s return to the United fold after missing the pre-season tour failed to break the deadlock with Ronaldo determined to head out the exit door despite suitors pulling out of the chase for his signature.
