Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani is set to leave as a free agent this coming summer with speculation rife over his next destination after calling it quits at Old Trafford.
The former Paris Saint Germain man Cavani would be inclined to look for greater first-team football elsewhere with his deal in the United shirt coming to a close come the end of the season.

A report from the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Cavani’s plan of making the move away from Old Trafford this coming summer remains on track with a switch to Spain’s top flight the priority for the Uruguayan forward.
South American clubs are also in the mix for Cavani’s signature, according to Romano, but Argentine club River Plate has been ruled out as a potential destination with United resigned to losing out on the 35-year-old.
Cavani’s injury troubles of late have curtailed his game time for Ralf Ragnick’s men who are in contention to make a serious push for a top four berth and secure Champions League football for the next season.
