Injury Update

Manchester United suffer more injury setbacks

Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw, and Victor Lindelof all missed the FA Cup tie against Watford due to injuries. Even Harry Maguire had to come back on the field due to a collision between eric Bailly and Dean Henderson who was manning the posts.

This has been not only tough for the teams but also all the people in general. Many of the top managers have continuously been complaining about the hectic schedule and how it has affected their players in a bad way.

The trio of Paul, Luke, and Victor were the standout performers set to miss the game but Manchester united still saw out the game.

Manchester United started the game well and dominated the position whilst creating chances. After some time though the players started to tire out and things even seemed dicey for a moment but Manchester United got through that phase.

Getting that chemistry and consistency was always going to be a problem especially because some of the players in the lineup were starting a game after a long time and they were straight at it and ahead early on in the game but just lost some momentum midway.

Van de Beek excelled in some parts of the game and gave that delightful little backheel to Juan Mata in the box which showed us why he was such a hot prospect and why Manchester wanted him so badly.

He has had very less game time since he arrived at the club but with a hectic season and an injury crisis looming around one could seriously see him make an entry into the first team and it would be a delight to see him.
These injuries may just prove to be a chance for some of the fringe players to earn a right into the first team again.
