Manchester United target Declan Rice wants West Ham exit next summer

Manchester United target Declan Rice is claimed to be keen on a West Ham exit next summer with the midfielder wanted by a number of top clubs across the land.

Joining United in the race to sign the England international defensive midfield player in this summer’s transfer window were title rivals Chelsea and Liverpool as West Ham stuck to their exobirant pricing demands.

The Hammers were after a £100 million transfer which put the interested parties off on pursuing an arrangement to land Rice who is one of the top midfield talents operating in the Premier League.

Reports from 90Min have now backed the 22-year-old Rice, who starred in this summer’s UEFA European Championships campaign with the runners-up England, to seal his move away from the London Stadium at the end of the ongoing 2021-22 campaign.

It is understood that the player is focused on the current season with David Moyes’ West Ham United outfit but is looking to call it quits with the club next summer as he ponders over putting pen to paper on a new deal which would allow him to leave should the release clause amount be paid.
