According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United will focus on another contract extension for their star midfielder Bruno Fernandes following their successful agreement to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
The Red Devils as of late did what needs to be done for Sancho with the Bundesliga outfit, consequently finishing an exciting and also a bit boring transfer saga that went on for almost two years.
They are presently targeting to buy players to bolster their team but the main priority right now is the contract extension for Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes had a wonderful full season with the Red Devils last term, and the United authority is quick to tie him to the club with a much more improved contract.
Fernandes was in his best form for the club last season, scoring 28 goals and providing 17 assists from 58 appearances in all contests. His league performances slightly went down during the last months of the season but it was expected after he faced the heavy load of playing literally every game for the club.
His current package provides him with £1,80,000 a week and now they are looking to hand him a more lucrative deal. He will be earning close to £3,00,000 a week, very close to David De Gea.
Fernandes’ signing has improved United’s creativity in attack from the last two seasons, and their most recent signing of Jadon Sancho should now improve their chances of winning a trophy even more.
There is still work to be done in the ongoing transfer window as their fierce rivals Manchester City, Chelsea among others are probably going to strengthen their squads as well.
Manchester United has been very closely linked with Real Madrid star Raphael Varane, and they will try to sign him quickly and then look for a defensive midfielder as well.
