Manchester United are in line to prioritise a new contract for star man Bruno Fernandes with talks between the player and the club in full swing, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Fernandes has been a brilliant performer for United since moving the club from Lisbon and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on extending a long-term deal to the Portuguese international playmaker.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Old Trafford this summer has meant that the Red Devils have gained some much-needed firepower up top on the pitch in the form of the 36-year-old who is backed to form a lethal pairing alongside Fernandes.

Another name high on United’s priority list will be the Frenchman Paul Pogba whose future with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side beyond the next summer continues to be the topic of much speculation with Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG keeping a close watch on the events.
