Manchester United FC fanbase has waited for the entire summer for the imminent arrival of Jadon Sancho. But the club hasn’t yet tabled a bid for the English winger as Dortmund are reportedly asking about £108m for their talisman. It has now been reported by The Daily Mail, that United will place a bid for Sancho this week as Solskjaer is confident for the move.
The Red Devils have prioritized a move for Sancho for the entire summer. United haven’t placed any bid for the winger, despite him being on the club’s radar since the last 18 months. The Dortmund chiefs have always said that Sancho won’t move this summer, but with time, United have grown in confidence with the transfer, despite considering a number of other alternative signings, such as Ismaila Sarr.
It is now being reported that United will send a bid to Dortmund as soon as Tuesday for Sancho. The Red Devils’ bid is likely to amount up to a total of about £90m but might also go up to £100m. It has been reported that Solskjaer has been in talks with Sancho and both are confident that the United board will pull off the transfer.
But with only a week left in the transfer window to close, only time will tell if Sancho joins United this summer.
