Manchester United trigger Pogba’s contract extension

Paul Pogba is arguably one of the world’s best midfielders and the World Cup winner loves the paparazzi and the limelight. Unfortunately for the midfielder, he hasn’t done enough at Manchester United, according to a few fans, despite him being the most expensive player in the world while he signed. It is now being reported by the Manchester Evening News that Manchester United have triggered Paul Pogba’s contract extension.

Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United has always been a cause of talk in the media, irrespective of his performances. The Frenchman surely has the talent to become the best in the Premier League, but his inconsistency and injury woes have let him down. Pogba has lately made comments about how wants to win at Manchester United but has also said playing for Real Madrid is a dream.

It is now being reported that United have triggered a 12-month extension in Pogba’s contract keeping him till 2022. There were also talks of extending Pogba’s contract further at United, but it seems unlikely now after a poor transfer window. Pogba has had a poor start to the season at Manchester United and many pundits believe he should be dropped.

Paul Pogba has to perform this season for Manchester United and if not he has all the chance of being sold next summer.
