Manchester United Trio Return To Training

According to the latest reports, Premier League outfit Manchester United have been handed a triple boost following the return of trio Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe and Nemanja Matic to full training.

United make the trip to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United on Sunday following the international break, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men chase back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time since March.

The return of first-choice left-back Luke Shaw comes as a big boost for United as he could add some much-needed experience and quality on the left side of the defensive pitch. The English defender was out of action with a hamstring injury since August but looks ready to feature for the Red Devils this weekend.

Axel Tuanzebe was one of the players tasked with filling the void on the left side of the defense but he too is only now back in the frame after a hip injury which forced him out of the warm-up before the game against fierce rivals Liverpool last month.

Teenage defender Brandon Williams has impressed at left-back in the meantime but Solskjaer would not want to depend on the youngster for a major part of the season and looks set to have more options at his disposal.

United could also soon have Serbian midfielder, Nemanja Matic, back involved. The 32-year-old defensive playmaker has not played since the start of October but rejoins the fold as midfield colleague Scott McTominay has now endured an ankle issue.
