Manchester United FC have been too slow in the transfer market this summer and thus are moving towards a panicky end. The club’s priority signing of Jadon Sancho hasn’t been signed by the board which has enraged the fanbase massively. It is now being reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano that United are trying to loan in Ousmane Dembele for a season if they don’t get Sancho.
It was earlier reported about Manchester United’s interest in Ousmane Dembele, who was even then seen as an alternative to Jadon Sancho. With talks stalling for Jadon Sancho, it is believed that United have panicked and are looking for alternatives. The Red Devils surely need a right-winger this season, after the failure of Dan James last season.
It is now being reported that United are desperately trying to get Ousmane Dembele on-loan from Barcelona this season. The player is least interested to leave Catalunya but the United board is trying hard to convince him to join the Red Devils. Even Barcelona aren’t ready to loan him out as they want to sell him only on a permanent basis.
Manchester United are trying to convince Ousmane Démbélé to join the club after he said no to #LFC [on loan] and to Juve [permanent] on last June.
Meanwhile, #MUFC are negotiating with Barça to sign him on simple loan or with buy option [#FCB were asking for permanent deal]. 🔴— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) September 30, 2020
This signing will be disastrous for United if it happens as the player has been injured more often than not and is nowhere near Sancho’s standard.
