Manchester United trying to inspire fans through transfers.

Manchester United have spoken to the media regarding their master plan for this transfer window, but the bitter truth is that even this heist looks like a totally fake one for the fans and the club.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was thirsting in the whole transfer window to get his targets but he never got his first priority players. The authority brought in four players on deadline day in Alex Telles, Edinson Cavani, Facundo Pellestri, Amad Diallo, and surprisingly all of them were not Solksjaer’s top priority at the start of the window.

The Brazilian Defender was snapped up for a relatively cheaper price as his contract expired last summer but that too came after quite a long wait. Cavani was a free signing who was available for months before he eventually joined while Diallo doesn’t officially join until January with work going on regarding his work permit for the country. Pellistri signed but has been stuck with the U23s so far and not even given any first-team chances while Donny van de Beek has been stuck on the bench even though being a promising player.

Those at the helm of the team always try to give positive signs for the fans regarding their transfer activity but then fall off from the top of the pyramid and totally disappoint the fans. It’s difficult to understand why they always do it perhaps it’s too try to change the fan’s mood to one that’s more optimistic but all it does is long-term damage when the club inevitably fails to deliver.

Countless failed transfers have made the fans doubting the ability of Woodward and Glazers to bring in top quality players. Over the past few years United have seen players going for a downfall even after coming in for a high price, players such as Di Maria, Falcao, Depay, and many others have failed to launch an impression during their time at Old Trafford.

United has heavily backed Solksjaer to succeed at United and recently chipped in with positive comments regarding their transfer activity. Hopefully, Solksjaer can get his targets if planned and executed properly but history often catches you by your throat, and given how COVID-19 has continued to demolish the world economy, it’s unlikely anyone will make it to the first team in this January transfer window.
