Manchester United has unveiled their new home jersey for the 2024/25 season, supporters will see them wear a classic red jersey with white trims around the crew neck area and sides, while complementing with white shorts.
The new campaign marks the start of Snapdragon’s sponsorship after the £60m deal with the American tech firm was finalized to see them replace TeamViewer.
The Adidas-designed kit progresses a “fluorescent” concept brought about in the era of the famous Busby Babes.
It was a period when this design was purposed to help players recognize each other more clearly under the flood lights.
This new kit displays a bold gradient effect, where light fades into dark red down the main body of the shirt, just like an ever-changing color depending on the light.

Key men Scott McTominay, Lisandro Martinez, Marcus Rashford, and Rasmus Hojlund all attended Monday’s unveiling event.
The new home kit is available to purchase now – prices start at £80 for adult shirts.
Adidas provided insight into the inspiration behind the new kit:
“We drew from the classic designs worn by the Busby Babes, incorporating ‘fluorescent’ materials to improve player visibility under floodlights. The rayon-style fabric from that era appeared to change shades of red based on how the stadium lights hit it.
For the 2024-25 kit, we have merged bold red tones into a gradient that transitions from light to dark down the shirt’s main body, giving it a dynamic, shifting color effect.”
Additionally, the kit features a vibrant, flame-like red insert running along the side panels of the jersey and shorts, a unique element that enhances visibility and creates a striking look against the stadium background as players move.
