Manchester United vs Arsenal Match Report | Premier League

Manchester United are once again proving everyone wrong. United edged past their bitter rivals Arsenal with a 3-1 score line.

After a first fifteen minutes of frantically desperate opening from the away side they almost scored the first goal of this fixture. Martin Odegaard dispossessed Christian Eriksen on the half-way line. That paved the way for Saka to put forward a pass to Gabriel Martinelli who comfortably finished beyond David De Gea.

After a long VAR check, the foul on Eriksen was considered correct as the goal was chalked off making the score line intact. At the half-hour mark, David De Gea made a brilliant save to deny Martinelli an almost certain goal. A few minutes later, our debutant- Antony scored marking his new United career in style. Bruno Fernandes once again opened the playing front allowing Rashford to be at the right position who indeed made an exceptional through ball to our debutant who made no mistake to put it inside the net with his left footed shot.

As the halftime whistle blew, it was Erik Ten Hag’s side who took the advantage. No sooner did the 2nd half begun the freshly looking Arsenal team poised serious threats to the United defence. Their patience eventually paid off when Jesus shot was saved by David De Gea but the rebound helped Saka to finish it off easily.

United were once again on the front foot after six minutes by a Rashford goal. Bruno Fernandes played a line-breaking pass beyond Arsenal’s defence to find Rashford one-on-one with defender. He kept his head calm and made no mistake to put it past Ramsdale. Ten minutes later, our number 10(Rashford) bagged his second strike of the game. United haven’t lost a game when they have led in the first half and that record has proudly been intact.
