Manchester United vs Burnley: Match Preview

The Red devils will face the Clarets in the fourth game week of season 2018/19. The wounded manager will like to keep his side in title contentions before a month passes in the Premier league. After two agitating defeats, United are determined to pounce back harder than ever. Burnley too will have to play their best if they want to register their first win of the season. Burnley too did not have good matches losing 3-1 at home to Watford and a 4-2 away loss to Fulham.

When and Where?

Location: Turf Moor

Time: 3pm BST, Sunday, 1 September.

What to expect

The history says that United will be the favourites to win at Turf Moor with 60 wins against Burnley whereas Clarets have been over United for 44 times. United have not lost to Burnley at Turf Moor in their last 3 visits and would like to continue the feat. With the optimistic interviews of Shaw, Herrera and Mourinho, United would surely practice from their toes to top, in a view to comeback to winning ways.

Team News

Phil Jones who limped into the dressing room is a doubt considering his injury and would bring in Victor Lindelof or Eric Bailly to start. Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot and Sergio Romero will still not feature for United. Nemanja Matic, Valencia and Sanchez returned in the match against Spurs and are likely to feature this Sunday.

Burnley will still be witout Steven Defour, Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Nick Pope. And Thigh injury has restricted Robbie Brady and Anders Lindegaard from playing.

All hail United
