Manchester United vs Leicester City Preview & Prediction

Erik Ten Hag has Manchester United on the boil. With 46 points, the Red Devils are third in the Premier League table. United, along with Arsenal and Manchester City, are title contenders.

Furthermore, under Ten Hag, the club has found its form. Manchester United gained traction after defeating Manchester City for the first time in a long time.

Leicester, on the other hand, has been struggling since the start of the 2022-23 season. The Foxes have gained some ground but remain inconsistent. They are definitely on a high after defeating the Spurs 4-1. For the time being, their only goal is to stay as far away from relegation as possible.

Manchester United are currently third in the Premier League standings and have shown tremendous improvement this season under Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils held Barcelona to a 2-2 draw in their previous game and will look to improve this weekend. Despite the Foxes’ mini-resurgence, the Red Devils appear to be in prime position to add to their Premier League 46-point tally, having won four of their last six home league H2Hs (D1, L1).

In addition to their dominant home form, ten Hag’s men have been relentless at Old Trafford of late, stringing together an incredible 16-game unbeaten streak in all competitions at home (W14, D2). Leicester City, on the other hand, are currently 13th in the league table and have improved after a slow start to the season.  Last week, the away team stunned Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 and will look to replicate that result in this match.

Marcus Rashford, the man in form and an inspiration to many, is Manchester United’s best player right now. He is also without a doubt the best player in form right now. Marcus is currently Manchester United’s leading scorer this season. In 35 appearances for Manchester United, he has 22 goals and 8 assists. Marcus recently scored in the Europa League against FC Barcelona. Furthermore, his ability to score goals is not his only strong suit. Marcus is a dangerous offensive threat who can also beat players one on one.

The two clubs are In excellent form right now, with the Foxes scoring four goals in their last two games and United not losing since the middle of January 2023. This game usually results in goals, and with both clubs currently on a high scoring streak, the chances of this happening are even higher.

Leicester and Manchester United both need three points to help with their respective domestic goals, and we can’t wait to see what happens.
