Manchester United will be out for revenge on Wednesday night as they gear up to welcome last season’s Europa League winners Villarreal.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men had come out second best to the La Liga heavyweights the last time these two sides met back in May this year in the final of the UEFA Europa League which culminated in a tense penalty shootout.
The Red Devils will be hoping to get their Champions League campaign back on the right track after being handed a shock defeat in the opening group stage fixture against Swiss outfit BSC Young Boys.
United last turned out in league action over the weekend against Aston Villa in a game which finished in a win for the Midlanders and disappointment for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Co. who were left ruing a missed Bruno Fernandes spot-kick.
