Manchester United are said to be weighing up offloading Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer with the wing-back failing to convince three years into his move to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace.
New United boss Eric ten Hag is on the lookout for options to bolster his backline in the summer transfer window and Inter Milan wing-back Denzel Dumfries is thought to be of interest to the boss following his displays at San Siro.
According to the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Ten Hag’s interest in moving in for Dumfries over the course of this window could mean an exit from the Manchester United fold for the England international Wan-Bissaka.
The 24-year-old was dropped from the United XI in favour of Diogo Dalot last season and with the latter stepping up with his stellar run of showings, the Red Devils camp could well deem Wan-Bissaka surplus to requirements and hope to pocket a sizable fee from his sale.
Romano has claimed that United will be ready to dip into the market for a new right-back should a deal for Wan-Bisaaka’s departure be on the cards with Diogo Dalot said to be in the plans for Ten Hag going forward.
