Manchester United will look to sell Daniel James this summer as he has been deemed as a surplus to requirements right now. After Jadon Sancho’s arrival, it is pretty clear that James will be a bench warmer for Manchester United next season.
As reported by ESPN, Leeds United has been linked with a move for the pacy winger. Currently, no offers have been placed for Wales International but if possible Man United will try to sell him to collect some funds for future transfers.
Solksjaer had previously admitted that Manchester United will see some incomings and outgoings in the coming month. It has been reported that Andreas Pereira and Diogo Dalot could make a move. If the reports sound true then even Dan James could be standing in the line for a potential exit.
Daniel James joined United from Swansea City in June 2019 but has since failed to fix his spot in the starting XI. Solksjaer has preferred Marcus Rashford more at that position.
United will not be looking for a loan offer as it will hardly make sense as he has already been getting enough time for his development at United. The hierarchy will still try to collect at least £70m from player sales this summer.
There has been no official bid from Leeds United as such but they have been taking interest in the pacy winger.
