The Manchester United squad has had a difficult international break, as several players have suffered a few niggles here and there. The likes of Marcus Rashford didn’t even join the England national squad due to an injury to his shoulder. It is now being reported by the Manchester Evening News that Manchester United will monitor the fitness of Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof before the game against West Brom.
It was earlier reported that Victor Lindelof had complained about an injury to his back after the Everton game. Lindelof has almost been ever-present for Manchester United this season, as the Swedish international has done well for the Red Devils. He had a problem for Sweden as well as he was taken off due to an inflammation in his back a couple of days ago.
On the other hand, Anthony Martial was also seen training alone in the French national squad camp. The Frenchman hasn’t had a great start to the season but has recently been amongst the goals. He will also go through a last-minute fitness test just before the West Brom game on Sunday.
Solskjaer would hope both his men will be fit, but he has to careful of not using them too much which might trigger an injury scare.
