Manchester United’s new home kit for the upcoming 2020/21 season appears to have ‘leaked’ from the strangest of sources, Barcelona’s YouTube account.
The La Liga giants appeared to make the mistake on Sunday afternoon as they uploaded a Barcelona vs Manchester United Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 match by Konami, to the club’s official YouTube channel, which included the new kit in the thumbnail.
The picture was soon deleted but not quick enough to prevent some razor-sharp fans from spotting the image which shows United star Paul Pogba wearing the apparent new shirt.
The new Adidas Manchester United 2020/21 home shirt will of course be predominantly red. Instead of black as this year, the Adidas logo on The Adidas Manchester United 2020-21 home football shirt will be white.
However, according to the image, in terms of design, we could see a very bold design. This is per a leaked football from the collection, which shows an abstract black and yellow graphic, which we could well see end up on the kit.
The Adidas home shirt for 2020/21 season will feature an unusual and unique pattern of black and yellow vertical stripes across the shirt, which may be a super bold and eye catching design and prove to be divisive among the fan base.
The current home jersey of the Manchester United for 2019/20 season sports a plain and predominately red design with a black and gold club crest which is inspired by 1998/99 kit to remember and pay tribute to the 1998/99 treble winning season under Sir Alex Ferguson’s management.
The design also has a flattened white collar, which appears to pay tribute to the 20th anniversary of Adidas’ United home kit from 1990-1992.
The image appears to match ‘leaked’ details of the new shirt which emerged in March while an image that leaked on Saturday suggested that United could have a green away strip for next season.
