Marcel Sabitzer feels valued at Manchester United amid summer move

As reported by the German publication Bild, Bayern Munich loanee Marcel Sabitzer feels valued at Manchester United and would favour staying at Old Trafford beyond the summer.

The Red Devils signed the Austrian midfielder in the January transfer window as a replacement for Christian Eriksen. The Danish star suffered a nasty injury that has kept him out until April.

Erik ten Hag was quick to find a replacement as he signed Sabitzer on loan to fill the void in the starting XI. Since then, the Bayern star has played in six games in all competitions for the club.

The fans have been ecstatic to watch him play and dictate the midfield region fluently. Sabitzer has been a commanding presence in the middle of the field and his tireless pressing has helped his side maintain their winning run in every major cup competition.

Ten Hag would favour keeping the 28-year-old beyond the summer. Sabitzer himself feels valued at the club and he believes that a permanent move would help him revive his career at Old Trafford.

Last month, his agent also revealed that the midfielder looks in proper shape since his move to Old Trafford. United have the chance to sign Sabitzer for just £20 million this summer.

Bayern Munich are well equipped to sign Konrad Laimer this summer and would be open to letting Sabitzer leave for a lower price. This station could fall in United’s favour at the end of the current season.
