Marcus Rashford has opened his account in the Premier League this season with the goal against Brighton last weekend. The Englishman was on fire last season as he scored a total of 17 goals in the Premier League last season for Manchester United. His goal against Brighton was United’s 10,000th goal in all competitions, to which Rashford responded in a great way.
The young English winger hasn’t been his usual best since the restart after suffering from a potentially career-ending injury. But this season, he has started off well as he has scored two goals already including the goal against Brighton. The United No.10 looks to be in good shape and is eager to get going and help Manchester United, in all competitions.
In his latest talk with MUTV, Rashford was told about the stat to which he said: “10,000 goals? It’s funny the way it happened as well, but we have to take things in our stride. We have to use these three points as motivation to improve and keep getting better. We have to improve if we want to hit our targets for the season.”
The Red Devils have had a mixed start to the season but will look to build from the win against Brighton. Rashford’s motivation will come in handy for Manchester United and will surely help other United players to be successful.
