Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has been nominated for the prestigious Premier League Player of the Season award following his exceptional performances throughout the current season.
Despite a challenging previous campaign, the 25-year-old has been in sublime form, contributing to an impressive 40 goals in 53 appearances.
With 21 of those goals coming in the Premier League, Rashford has played a crucial role in United’s pursuit of a top-four finish.
His outstanding displays have earned him three Premier League Player of the Month awards, and it comes as no surprise that he has now made the shortlist of eight players vying for the Player of the Season accolade.
Among the contenders are Erling Braut Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, and Martin Odegaard, making the competition tough.

Haaland, in particular, stands out as the frontrunner due to his remarkable tally of 36 league goals. However, Rashford possesses a genuine chance of winning, supported by the enormous fan base of United.
Recently recovering from a leg injury that caused him to miss the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rashford returned to training and is expected to be included in the squad for the upcoming game against Bournemouth.
As the Red Devils prepare for the away fixture against Bournemouth, a victory would bring them one step closer to securing a spot in the Champions League through a top-four finish. Currently, the club requires a maximum of six points to secure a Champions League spot.
