Mario Lemina Prefers Move To Manchester United Over Arsenal

According to the latest reports, Southampton midfield star Mario Lemina prefers to make a move to Manchester United over Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The Gabonese superstar is attracting heavy interest from the two top clubs in the Premier League and has to make a choice on where he wants to continue playing his football.

With the transfer speculation revolving around French midfielder Paul Pogba amid interest from La Liga side Real Madrid; it makes sense for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to head into the transfer market to look for a suitable replacement for the World Cup winner.

Along with the transfer speculation around Pogba, United already sold Marouane Fellaini to the Chinese Super League in January and Ander Herrera left for Paris Saint Germain this summer. The Red Devils are running short in the midfield department and are eyeing a few players that can fill in the void at the home of the 20 time League champions.

Mario Lemina has been catching the eye of quite a few top clubs in England since the Southampton midfielder joined the South coast club back in the summer of 2017 from Serie A champions Juventus. Lemina has scored just one goal for the Saints in 49 appearances but Arsenal and Manchester United are aware of the talent and ability that the 25-year-old possesses in his locker.

Arsenal only a £40 million transfer war chest for the summer but Unai Emery is still keen to bolster his squad for the upcoming season. Gabonese international Mario Lemina is on the transfer wishlist for the Gunners but 25-year-old midfielder prefers a move to Old Trafford over North London.

Manchester United have already secured the services for Daniel James and Aaron Wan Bissaka this summer but Solskjaer still wants to continue the spending spree to bring in top quality players at the club to push United higher up the table next season.

The Red Devils have already been given permission to speak with the Saints midfielder, however; the Norwegian boss will not make a move for Lemina unless the future of Pogba has been resolved over the next few weeks.
