According to The Sun, Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood has generated over £1 million in earnings through his image rights company, despite not featuring for the club for more than a year.
The future of the England international at Old Trafford remains uncertain. Speculation suggests that the 21-year-old could potentially be loaned out, as manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly opposed to selling the forward during this summer transfer window.
The Sun has revealed that Greenwood has seen significant profits from his image rights company. Despite not playing for the club since January of last year, Greenwood has continued to receive his £75,000-a-week wages.
He serves as a director for TSM Sports Ltd, the company he established with his father Andrew in 2019.
The report states that Greenwood’s account balance has risen to £1.05 million, up from £740,000 the previous year. The young forward owns more than 75 per cent of the company’s shares.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future at the club, Greenwood is reportedly in a stable financial position off the pitch. The Manchester United striker last played for the club in January 2022 during a 1-0 victory against West Ham.
He is now free to resume his career after charges against him were dropped in February. United have been conducting an investigation into Greenwood since then.
Speculation is growing that he may be loaned out to a club in Italy or Spain in the upcoming season, as there is interest from these countries.
