Mason Greenwood in line to be sidelined for England’s forthcoming fixtures

Manchester United’s highly-promising attacker Mason Greenwood is claimed to be in line to be sidelined for England’s forthcoming fixture list.

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Greenwood who has been a real sensation in the final third of the pitch for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s camp is likely to be given a structured path into the England fold.

Deliberations between Solskajer and The Three Lions gaffer Gareth Southgate are understood to have resulted in an agreement following which the 19-year-old forward will not be a part of England’s squad for the Andorra and Hungary fixtures due to be held next month.

Greenwood’s start to the new season at Old Trafford has been a tremendous one with the teenager finding the back of the net in each of the opening three outings for the Red Devils in league action.

The player’s regular presence on the United starting teamsheet is sure to be affected by the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at the scene but Solskjaer will be backed to give regular minutes on the pitch to his young and promising talent.
